We’ve just released an updated version of the SmartThings Android app, and it’s now available for free download in the Google Play store. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new and improved:

SmartThings version 1.6.6 includes several bug fixes and overall performance improvements for increased stability. We have added a “Not Yet Configured” notification by the “Plus” icon in the Dashboard. In addition, when you delete a Z-Wave device, you will now be prompted to go in to Z-Wave exclusion mode and correctly remove the device from the Z-Wave network. We’ve also introduced firmware notifications to let you know when software updates are available.
