Android Update
We’ve just pushed out our major Android app release to the first batch of beta testers.
During the next few weeks, we’re looking forward to gaining valuable feedback that will help us fine-tune the product and help us deliver a SmartThings experience that takes advantage of Android’s unique features. We also plan on expanding the early pool of Android customers who get to test out the new app in the very near future.

Currently a small portion of our Android beta testers have access to the new app experience, but we will be expanding that pool shortly.

Is there any point in ordering this right now if you don’t own a single Apple product? I’d hate to spend $500 and not be allowed to use it.
What I mean is. If I can’t have access to all the features, I’ll just wait, who knows, maybe google@home will be ready by then.
You know this post is from january right? The Android app in the Play Store and the iOS app are almost the same now, feature-wise.
What was the point in deleting that? it was perfectly valid to point out your STILL asking for beta testers, therefore the question is STILL valid.
You lost me. We were asking for beta testers in January – 4 months ago. Please go and download the Android app.

Also – deleting what?
After the update. The app keeps on crashing. Please find a solution. On the Google PlayStore so many comments and complaints. Please fix the issue bought all the expensive equipment and can’t use it properly.
